Our Broken Yesterdays…

people think i am strong blog“Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders, and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance  the race marked out for us.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God, consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart… “

Hebrews 12:1-3

As we come before You, Dear Jesus, fixing my eyes on You the author and perfecter of my faith, how thankful I am You have chosen me to be a witness of Your love…

Help me to throw off the things that are hindering me, the sin that so easily entangles my heart and trips me up…

I lay down my sin, my broken yesterdays, and pray for Your cleansing and grace.  Please Dear, Lord, give me the strength to not turn back, but instead move forward in hope and healing…

For yesterday is gone and Today is a new day.. Help me to live in the light of what is good.  What is right; and what is pleasing to You…

“Let the past rest, but let is rest in the sweet embrace of Christ..”

Oswald Chambers
