I will Not Be Shaken… #trust

i will not be shanken“For the Lord God is our light and protector.  He gives us grace and glory.”

Psalm 84:11

God’s love and protection surrounds your heart.

When words aren’t enough.  When you are tempted to feel detached and broken…

Let God’s grace quite your mind, and comfort your soul.

He is protecting you, for His glory…

Let His grace flow.

“No good thing will the Lord withhold from those who do what is right.  O lord Almighty, happy are those who trust in You..”

Psalm 84: 12

Heavenly Father, I am trusting in You.  No good thing will you withhold from my heart and life.. I seek you with all of my heart, and lay my worries and fears at your feet.

Thank You for covering my heart and my thoughts with Your tender mercies and amazing grace…

I need You, and thank You for taking from me the things I cannot control, and filling me with more of You and less of me.

You are My God… My hope, and my refuge…

I give You may day, may You be glorified, and may I be covered by your power and majesty…

What a sweet reminder of who we are in the heart; and hands of God…

No matter what you are going through today, my prayer is that God’s love, hope, and strength will set you apart, and give you the courage to live out loud.

That you will step away from the overwhelming feelings of self-condemnation, or fear, and run into the safety of Your mighty Father in Heaven who will not let you fail…

“Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord, Your God, is with you whenever you go..”

Worry … #foreverfaithful

Praying this morning over “Worry.”

“Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up.”

Proverbs 12:25

We all know that this is true, right?

Worry darkens our thoughts and taints our joy.

Worry, locks our hearts up, and stops us for enjoying what is happening in our lives at this very moment…

We worry about things that haven’t happened, but might happen…

Worry defeats us before we even have a chance to see how things will turn out…

Worry silently destroys the good that God is pouring into our lives because we are expecting the worst..

“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself, each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Matt 6:34

Let’s just say No to the drama that worry creates,  and say YES to believing God has good for those who love Him…

“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord.  Plans to proper you and not to harm you.  Plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11

Dear Heavenly Father,  Good Morning, and thank You so much for Your words of hope and encouragement.  Your love seeks to pierce the darkness of worry, and light our souls with truth, hope, and strength…

Strength that says I am Your child, and You have my whole heart, for my whole life.

May You release me from the lies of worry… And draw me into the truth of today.

“Today is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Psalm 118:24

Help me to live one day at a time, free from what may be, and full of what is true…

What is true is You love me, and have my heart for always…

May my heart be light, and may I encourage someone today who needs to have their burden lightened…

May they know that You are the God of love, amazing light, and hope…

Materialism… #renew

letting go of the need of wanting moreMaterialism.

It can be like a noose around my neck…not even realizing it’s there, but it tightens little by little.  The next thing you know you feel strangled… even suffocated…

It’s the worst…

Letting go of the need of wanting more, needing more is a gift…

It’s a calmness that only God can install in our hearts.  A gift of contentment and peace…

“So don’t be afraid little flock.  For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.  Sell what you have and give to those in need. 

This will store up treasure for you in heaven.  And the purses in heaven have no holes in them, Your treasure will be safe.  No thief can steal it and no moth can destroy it.

Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be..”

Luke 12: 32-34

I love how God calls us His little flock…

It’s so sweet, and personal…

Dear Heavenly Father, Good Morning.  I come before You this new day so thankful to know You are near.  So thankful You love me so dearly, and whisper truths so deeply…

Materialism can darken our thoughts from hope and goodness,  to need and want.

So deceiving and squelching…

Thank You for Your sweet reminders that we don’t have to hold on to things.. we can let go and trust You with it all…

We can be content with what we have, because You open our eyes… soften our hearts and fill us with good desires..

Desires to please You and to love others.

Kindness.. gentleness and self-control are all a gift from You and I thank You from the bottom of my heart for filling me with Your Spirit of love and truth.

I give You my day, Oh Lord, and open my hands wide…

All that I am, all that I have is Yours…

Walking in Your peace, and thanking You for Your love..

Dear Father, Thank you for my sweet niece… her words of hope and goodness lifted my spirit and encouraged my heart.  Father, only you knew how much I needed to hear her kind words.. How truly amazing is love.

I pray Your blessing of favor, hope, and inspiration all around her life…

Thank You for her.  Thank You for her presence in my life.

Thank You for all that You are doing, and thank You for drawing our lives so amazingly woven together..

Lord, may we not miss one single opportunity to love someone today…

i belong to you“Then I realized how bitter I had become, how pained I had been by all I had seen.  I was foolish and ignorant.  I must have seemed like a senseless animal to you.  Yet I still belong to You; You are holding my right hand. 

You will keep on guiding me with Your glorious counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.  Whom do I have in heaven but You?I desire You more than anything on earth..”

Ever felt like that?  I so have.  I couldn’t even read those words without crying…

Oh, Heavenly Father, how truly beautiful You are.  Pain, bitterness and sadness once consumed my heart… How thoughtful You are to stand by me…

The love you have shown me, melts my heart and consumes my soul…

How precious You are.

I  belong to You.. The God of the universe.. You hold my right hand, and continuously guide me with Your counsel…

Thank you for holding me close… Thank You for Your undeserving love and forgiveness that constantly washes over my life…

May my heart shine bright of the love You are…

May others be pierced by Your goodness… May they see You in me… May your love overflow with hope and courage…

Thank You for never giving up on me…
