Thanking You for the beauty that You are… #soverythankful

he makes me braveFeeling the breath of Your goodness, I praise and adore You…

Reaching for Your hand, I am comforted by Your warmth, and quieted by Your strength…

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”

Thank You for Your strength, Oh Lord…

Taking my eyes off of myself, Oh Lord, I put my hope in You…

I lay my thoughts, and anxious heart at the throne of Your feet…

Letting go of all my worries, expectations, and fears…

Putting my hope back in Your hands, I will soak in this moment of quiet beauty.

You, Oh Lord, are my strength…and Your peace transcends all understanding…

My heart, is quieted by the majesty of Your presence..

How beautiful and wonderful You are..

Help me to rest in Your care, Father, to be aware of the anxious thoughts that try to invade…

Thank you for the power of Your presence, and the quietness of Your peace..

“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope” in the Lord will renew their strength..”

“They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and grow weary, they walk and be faint..”

I am Your’s, Oh Lord,

I am Your’s…

In Jesus Name,

Amen

More Grace… More Hope… More Goodness… #goodness

moving forwardMore grace…

More hope…

More goodness than we could ever ask for….

“And hope does not disappoint us because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, Christ died for us.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 5:4

While we were still sinners…

God doesn’t wait until we have it all figured it… We will always be a work in progress…

Ahhhh…..

That is music to my ears…

I need His strength to keep going. To keep pushing ahead, and to keep letting go of my yesterdays..

We need His hope of truth to live in today, and make today count for His glory and the love of those He surrounds our lives with…

We need His grace upon grace to push ahead and be the people He has called us to be..

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus too hold of me. Brothers I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it, But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind me and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:15

We got this…

Letting go of what lies behind..

Excited about what is to come..

May we live for today…

May our hearts be settled in Your grace..

May Your hope be our guide…

Oh Lord,

How I give you my today…

I love You,

In Jesus Name,

Amen

The Trap is Broken & We are Set Free…! #courage

please do not feed the fearsWe escaped like a bird from a hunter’s trap.

The trap is broken and we are free!

Our help is from the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth..”

Psalm 124:7-8

Fighting this battle of truth in my mind.

… “The trap is broken and we are set free!”

No more fear will enter my heart…

You, Oh Lord, You are my redeemer and rock..

“Then Peter filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Leaders, and elders of our nation, are we being questioned because we did a good deed for a crippled man?

Do you want to know how He was healed?

Let me clearly state to you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed in the name and power of Jesus Christ from Nazareth, the man you crucified, but whom God raised from the dead.

For Jesus is the one referred to in the scriptures, where it says,

‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the  cornerstone.’

There is salvation in no one else!

There is no other name in heaven for people to call on to save them.”

The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men who had had  no special training….”

Acts 4: 8-13

Keep fighting the good fight…

Do not feed the fears…

Do good…lots, and lots of good…

Love big…bigger and biggest!

We are ordinary men… but we have an extraordinary God…

Live in Love,

Lisa

The Miracle of Salvation… #renew

perhaps” And anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

I know the Lord is always with me.  I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.

No wonder my heart is filled with joy, and my mouth shouts His praises!

My body rests in hope…. You have shown me the way of life, and You give me wonderful joy in Your presence…”

Joel 21:28

How wonderful are Your promises, Oh Lord,

How beautiful is Your name…

I will not be shaken for You are right beside me…

My heart overflows with the joy of Your love, and my body rests in the arms of Your embrace.

You are the way, the truth and the life……

Thank You for the wonderful joy You have given my heart…The joy of being in Your presence, and peace…

Thank You for the miracle of salvation and the gift of purpose..

I am Your’s. Oh Lord.

I am Your’s…

You Can. And You Will… #goodness

you can and you willKeeping my thoughts on Your truths.

Moving forward in harmony,  and covered by grace.

Listening for Your still small voice that penetrates the fear that can surround my heart.

Trusting You with all that I am.

I am learning so much about pushing my life forward and living in the moments of today.

Keeping my thoughts on what is. Not what was, or what is to come..

Our Heavenly Father, meets us today…

In the moments of right now.

He draws us our of our own thoughts, and  ideas,  and  He cleanses us with hope, truth and life.

He sees our hearts, and hears our cries…

He bends down low, so we can stand lean on His side.

Remember how good He was to Mary…

“Mary was standing outside the tomb crying, and as she wept, she stooped and looked in.  She saw two white robbed angels sitting at the head and foot of the place where the body of Jesus had been lying.

Why are you crying?”  the angels asked her. “Because they have taken away my Lord,” she replied, “and I don’t know where they have put Him.”

She glanced over her shoulder and saw someone standing behind her.  It was Jesus, but she didn’t recognize Him.

“Why are you crying?”

Jesus asked her, “Who are you looking for?”

She thought He was the gardener.

“Sir” she said, “If you have taken Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will go and get Him.

“Mary!” Jesus said.

She turned toward Him and exclaimed,

“Teacher!”

How beautiful is that!

We have the Great I Am calling our name…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today, as I drink in the love You so lavish on my heart… I want to say thank You.

As I walk in the moments of today, may I remember You are by my side…

You are but a breath away…

I give You my today…

Help me to keep pushing forward…

Living out love and being the best me I can be…

In Jesus Name,

Amen

Live in Love,

Lisa

“I am the vine: you are the branches.  If you remain in me and I in you you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

John 15:5

You can and You will bear much fruit…

That Is His promise to You!
