When your motives are good… #encourageoneanother

i don't always say stupid things...When your motives are good, may your heart be strong…

It’s so easy for words, feelings, and emotions to run a muck in the simplest of conversations.    We may start to feel unsafe, or judged.  And our defenses start to rise…

We all want to protect our hearts…

Pride can be disguised in so many ways, but the sting that it leaves on my heart is always the same…

And it’s awful..

The feeling of playing a conversation over and over in my mind…

The sadness of not being able to change the perception of our words, keeps our minds busy for way too long…

Humility …

Is always the greatest defender of my heart….

God’s goodness is so great…

I want to keep laying my heart in His hands, no matter how I feel…

“Your goodness is so great! You have stored up great blessings for those who honor You.

You have done so much for  those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.

You hide them in the shelter of Your presence, safe from those who conspire against them.

You shelter them in Your presence far from accusing tongues..”

Psalm 31:1-20

He is our great comfort…

He knows are weaknesses and covers them with His love and care…

This scripture is a  soothing oil to my heart…  I find my daily hope in “The shelter of His presence…”

May you be comforted by His heart of love that covers yours…

May our thoughts be grounded in humility and tenderness…

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for never letting go…

for using Your word of hope to wash our souls and protect our hearts…

Today,

As I walk in the presence of Your shadow, how I pray I would let You be my great defender..

May my words be kind..

Sweet and true…

I love You, Jesus,

In Your name,

I pray,

Amen

Live in Love,

Lisa

“Love the Lord, all you faithful ones! For the Lord protects those who are loyal to Him, but He harshly punishes all who are arrogant, So be strong and take courage, all you who put your hope in the Lord…”

Psalm 31:23-24

Lord, soften my heart…
