Favor… It’s Undeserved and Abundant…
“And so we keep on praying for you, that our God will make you worthy of the life to
which He called you.
And we pray that God by His power, will fulfill all your good intentions and faithful deeds.
Then everyone will give honor to the name of the Lord Jesus because of you, and you will be honored along with him.
This is all made possible because of the undeserved favor of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.”

Oh Lord, How I love these words of hope and inspiration…
How truly important our lives are in Your hands…
As I come before You this new day, I bend my knees and pray… May my life… our lives, be worthy of Your calling..
How I pray, by Your power, that You will fulfill all of our good intentions, and faithful deeds, as we live to serve, and draw others into Your presence of love and forgiveness..
How beautiful it is to Give glory and honor to Your name…
This is my heart’s desire…
How I pray we would eagerly accept Your undeserved favor …
Not for our benefit, but for the benefit of those who are seeking hope…love… forgiveness and grace…
Those who so desperately need to know how much You love them..
Want them, and even know their name…
Your undeserved favor is a gift of love… may we use it well…
Calling On Your Name…
Praying for those we come in contact with…
May our lives be used for all that You intended for us…
Thank You, Father, for gently opening my eyes, and turning my face towards Your’s…

It’s what we are called to do.
Being gentle, kind-hearted … full of grace…
These are the things that set our hearts apart from the status quo..
Kindness is always unexpected in a world so full of competition, jealousy, fear and pride.
It is always such a refreshing breeze when love breathes its goodness in a conversation that seems harsh…
Oh Lord,
When I feel threatened and afraid, how I thank You for Your Spirit that touches my heart, and gently reminds me that the battle is Yours…
Help me to be aware of those moments when Your love is pulling on my heart….
Your love reminds me that I don’t have to fight…
Your goodness soothes my soul, and let’s me express love towards others…
May I be more aware of the kindness that You are… and the hope that You want to bleed through my life…
People need You…
I need You…
All for Your glory…
All for their gain…
May others see Your reflection in my life, Oh Lord…
May I be careful to hear Your voice, and bend my knees…
Forgive me when I fall short…
How I pray Your grace like rain over my heart and my day…

There are those days when I just can’t…
I just can’t see beyond myself…
I feel paralyzed and afraid…
Alone and discouraged…
Hope feels distant, and sadness surrounds me…
Oh Lord,
I feel myself sipping away from Your hand of comfort, and heart of hope…
Then… in the fogginess of my mind…
I catch a glimpse of Your bright light…
A whisper of Your love..
.The gentleness of Your touch…
I can sense Your warmth pulling me near…
There You are!
I feel myself letting the fear fade.
I call Your Name…
Jesus!
I need You…
I hear Your voice calling my name… comforting my heart..
And in a nano second…
My heart swells with thanksgiving…
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to five you hope and a future.”
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart.”
Jeremiah 29: 11-13
You, Oh Lord, are listening to my heart…
You are calming my mind, and holding my hand…
I trust You…

Oh, how I need You…
Use my life, Father, outside of myself…
I can do all things through Your love that sets me free…

In My Deepest Wound… I Saw Your Glory.
The kindness of Your love, and the mercy of Your touch…
“He made peace with everything in Heaven and on earth by means of His blood on the cross. This includes you who were once so far away from God. You were enemies , separated from Him by your evil thoughts and actions.
Yet now He has brought you back as His friends. He has done this through His death on the cross in His own human body…
As a result He has brought you into the very presence of God, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before Him without a single fault.
But you must continue to believe this truth and stand in it firmly...
Don’t drift away from the assurance you heard when you received the good news..”
Colossians 1 19-23
May these words stop us in our tracks…
May they breathe new life… hope, and awareness of His love for me and you.
May my heart..not for a moment, drift away from Your deep assurance. Thank You so much for Your Holy love that washes over me, and bleeds through my veins… moment by moment; and day by day…
Oh Lord,
You are my very life source…
Your love keeps my heart grounded on what is true, and right, and good…
You keep my thoughts grounded in pleasing You above all things…
When the pressures of people pleasing, or second guessing my heart’s call come barreling down on me…
Your love, and deep compassion pour through my thoughts and give me peace…
