The celebration of His sweet love stirs my soul to sing dance and cheer…
What a gift…
What a hope we have…
Live in love,
Lisa
In the quietness of my heart….
In the calmness of my spirit,
I know it doesn’t take much to touch a soul…
The sweetness of a smile…
The kindness of a word…
To let someone know they are appreciated…
Seen and oh so lovely….
Yes, in the quietness of my heart, I know the importance of hope…
Make someone happy…
And You’ll be happy too…
Live in Love,
Lisa
Just an after thought….
My husband is the best at this…
He always thanks people who are working on Sundays…
At the grocery store,
A restaurant…
Anywhere he may find himself…
He let’s them know he sees them..
He sees their sacrifice..
I love that…
:)
“While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth
to her first born, a son.
She wrapped him in cloths and placed Him in a manger, because there was no
room for them in the inn…”
Luke 2:6-7
The tenderness of this scene fills my soul to overflowing…
The three of them on the ground.. sitting in dirt and straw…
The love of God swirling and enveloping their hearts and minds…
Oh, how my heart swells with joy…
My spirit cries in symphony with love and good cheer…
Our precious savior was here…
So much sweetness…
So much peace…
This picture of such simple and humble means reminds me of what is true..
No money or fame…
No glory of self…
Can ever fuel our spirits…
Only His presence…
Only His grace…
I love You Dear Jesus…
I love you…
Amen
Live in Love,
Lisa
“In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be
taken of the entire Roman world…
And everyone went to his own town to register.
So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth…
He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to
him, and was expecting a child.”
Luke 2: 1-5
Not yet married…
Obedient to their God in Heaven…
Having to journey in the dust and weather…
They were securely wrapped in the the promises of God …
And
They had each other…
Father…
Thank You for showing our hearts the power of the Holy Spirit’s
conviction and truth…
No legalism of Religion here…
Their lives were touched by Your hand of hope…
Their eyes were opened by the light of truth…
They humbly followed Your call…
No one could take that away…
They were forever changed…
We are forever changed…
You whispered our names…
Cleansed our hearts…
Covered us in comfort and set our feet on solid ground…
No one can take that away…
That moment of truth when Your Spirit entered mine … burns deeply in my soul.
Your love changed me.
I will forever trust in You…
We are covered by the beauty of undeserved grace…
Our hearts… and our spirits are free to love uninhibitedly…
Oh Lord,
How I pray that moment will always be our driving force forever and ever
Amen…
Live in Love,
Lisa
When Elizabeth, Mary’s relative, gave birth to her son, they named Him
John, just as the angel told them…
“Do not be afraid Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife
Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you re to give him the name John.
He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his
birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord…
And He will go on before the Lord in the spirit and the power of Elijah to
turn the hearts of the father’s to their children.. to make ready a people
for the Lord….
After this, his wife Elizabeth, became pregnant and for five months remained in seclusion…
“The Lord has done this for me, she said, He has shown His favor and taken away my disgrace among the people…”
Luke 1:25
God’s love shone bright…
He heard the cries of their heart, and He had a plan no one could
understand…
His love so deep.
He grace so tender.
Zachariah sang over His new baby boy a song of hope for all the world…
“…. and You my child,
will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you
will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for Him to give His people
the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins because
of the tender mercy of our God by which the rising son will come to us
from heaven to she on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death
to guide our feet into the path of peace…”
Luke 1:76-79
Heavenly Father…
My heart cries out to You…
Your love rains down from heaven and touches every part of my soul…
How wonderful Your truths are..
How miraculous is the Christmas season..
Soften our souls, Oh Lord…
May we be witnesses to all the beauty and tenderness this season bears..
May Christmas be a glowing ember of hope to the weary…
May we slow down enough to let Your loving grace permeate our lives…
May we reflect on Your light of hope that shined on our darkness, and
healed our disgrace…
May our heart’s reflect You…
May my spirit rejoice in the love You poured over me…
You found me in my despair, and You gave my life meaning…
May my life be a sweet fragrance unto You…
My King…
In Jesus Name,
I pray,
Amen

Mary’s sweet song of worship and glory continues…
“His mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to generation,
He has performed mighty deeds with His arm;
He has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.
He has brought down rulers from their thrones,
but has lifted up the humble.
He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty.
He has helped His servant Israel,
remembering to be merciful to Abraham and his descendants forever even as He said to our father.”
Luke: 50-55
Mary’s spirit flows such a deep and honored reverence…
Her words piercing darkness; shinning light of God’s goodness and precious love to those who seek Him.
His mercy extending to those who know His power and might…
He lifts up the humble…
He fills the hungry with good things…
Lord,
My soul sits quietly before Your throne…
My heart humbled…
My spirit pierced…
Your love is my most treasured life source…
Your mercy flows through my veins…Your spirit fills me with so much hope…
so much comfort…
so much peace…
Father,
While I can’t see the road ahead of me, I can see You…
Like Mary, I pray to serve and honor You all the days of my life…
Like Mary …
I choose love…
I choose joy…
I choose life..
One day at a time…
One moment at a time…
I choose You…
In Jesus Name,
I pray,
Amen
Live in Love,
Lisa
Thank You…For never giving up on me…
“Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!”
Luke 1:45
Elizabeth’s sweet words of love, and genuine confirmation stirred a song in Mary’s soul…
And she began to sing…
“My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for He has been mindful of the humble state of His servant.
From now on all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me –
Holy is His name….”
Luke 1: 46-49
God touched Mary’s humble precious soul…
He pierced her with love, and filled her with joy…
She had know idea what the future was going to hold, but she knew who held her, and why…
The Sovereign Lord.. God Almighty.
All for God’s goodness and mercy to reign… and that was enough for Mary..
Is that enough for me?
For all of her mind, all of her heart, and all of her soul truly loved her God, and He showed up in a unbelievable and unimaginable way…
Living simply…
Honoring God with all that You are will never go unnoticed by Our God…
Holy Is His Name…
Live in Love,
Lisa
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You this Christmas season rejoicing in Your very Name…
May my soul glorify You, as my spirit rejoices in Your redemption and glory…
Thank You that I don’t have to work and endlessly strive…
You are close to the humbled hearted…
How I pray my life an offering unto You…
Praising and worshiping Your never ending love.
Living daily to love You…
Living daily to be an extension of Your goodness and grace.
Living my life simply…
Honoring Your Name…
Not rushing to please…
How I thank You for Your peace…
How I praise You for Your care…
How I thank You that You saw my brokenness and chose to show Yourself to me…
That is remarkable…
That is a miracle…
I am sealed by Your blood.
I am held by Your love…
So very thankful…
So very humbled…
May my spirit rejoice in all the great things You have done for me…
What an amazing love…
How I praise Your Holy Name…
In Jesus Name,
I pray,
Amen
Live in the joy of His unmeasurable love… :)
After the angel, Gabriel, left Mary, the Bible says she got ready and rushed
to go see her relative, Elizabeth…
Can you imagine her emotions…
Her excitement…
Her Hope…
Was she scared?
“At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth.
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb , and
Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
In a loud voice she exclaimed:
“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear!
But why am I so favored, that the other of the my Lord should come to me?
As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.
Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!”
Luke 1:39-45
How sweet is this relationship between Mary and Elizabeth…
We don’t know if Elizabeth was Mary’s sister, cousin, aunt, or even sister in law. We only know that they are related, and their love for each other was pure…
sweet and kind…
I can just see Elizabeth holding Mary so tightly…Looking into her gentle, kind eyes, and pouring so much love… so much assurance into her heart…
“Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will b accomplished!”
Elizabeth’s words of love and pure joy must have comforted Mary’s dear heart so much…..
She was not alone on this journey…
Their love for God, and each other, bonded their hearts and encouraged truth to pour forth…
Mary broke out in a beautiful song to her God..
Her King…
Her Everything…
Oh Lord,
My God, My King my Everything…
My soul is deeply touched at the beauty of Your works..
The love you of the Holy Spirit,
so pure in our lives…
No jealousy, no pride…
No room for hardness or fear.
Father, may my soul …
my heart, and my thoughts be filled with more truth…
As I read these words about Mary and Elizabeth, I sense a passion deep within my spirit being awakened… and filled with hope…strength and security…
You are God…
Why do we fear?
“For nothing is impossible with God…”
Luke 1:37
May our lives be filled with more of Your Spirit…
More readily aware of the goodness You pour into our hearts…
May we be thankful, and full of joy for those God has sewn into our lives…
Those who celebrate and reassure us of God’s love, and purpose on our journeys…
May we not be afraid to reach out and encourage each other…to watch the
miracle of God’s love unfold in those kindred hearts God has drawn into
our lives…
I love You Jesus…
In Your Name,
I pray,
Amen
Live in Love,
Lisa
