Walking forward in faith…moment by moment, and day by day; for sure takes practice…

You are learning to trust God’s guidance and direction.

His freedom and hope.

We get so used to looking back, over analyzing; and over thinking…

Those thoughts are exhausting, draining and keep you pinned in…

They keep us from living,  and loving; in our today…

And today is what is in front of us.

Looking back. Is. A Trap.

Picture a trap hunters set out to catch a wild animal…

When a trap gets ahold of you, it clamps down, pierces your skin, and holds you hostage…

right where you are.

You are stuck, and alone…

Hurting, and even bleeding…

This is not a good place to find yourself!

That is exactly what looking back  will do, if  we do not take heed…

This is a serious mind set.

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith.

Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are.”

1 Peter 5:9

Knowing that we are not alone in our struggles, is a beautiful thing…

We are all on the same team,

And God is our Coach :)

He is walking hand in hand with us through the traps, and teaching us how to walk securely.. hopefully;  and joyfully to the other side…

We don’t want to get all tripped up and stuck over yesterday…

Today matters,

You matter.

Let us reach out our arm, with great abandon and joy…  letting our Heavenly Father, reach down and securely grip our hands…

Let Him walk you forward…

Hear His voice singing songs of truth…of victory, and joy…

“You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of

deliverance.”

Psalm 32:7

You are not alone :)

Let Him encourage your steps, and release your fears…

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Psalm 118:24

Live in Love,

Lisa

Kid! You will move mountains!! :)

“I will thank You, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of the marvelous things You have done.

I will be filled with joy because of You.

I will sing praises to Your Name, O Most High..”

Psalm 9:1-12
