An unsettled spirit…

A feeling of unrest…

A loud or harsh  push that you need to do more…  be more.

Is that God?

Nope!

Is is never the Spirit of the Lord that causes anxiety….

Never.

The presence of the Lord eases your heart…

His presence quiets your soul.

His presence fills the room of your heart with calmness and comfort…

His presence pierces the darkness…

His presence breaks through our confusion and says STOP…

I AM Here.

It can happen in an instant…or over time.

You feel worried or afraid.

Stop…

It’s not God.

Oh Heavenly Father,

How I need You every day…

How I thank You for Your word of clarity that stops the crazy …

Your presence is my anchor deep within.

Your presence nourishes my soul, and let’s Your love in…

“He tends His flock like a shepherd.

“He gathers the lambs in His arms, and carries them close to His heart…”

Isaiah 40: 11

The stronghold is broken.

There is no need to fear.

Stay close to His heart.

“For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says  to you

Do not fear;

I will help you.”

Isaiah 41:13

Put your hope in the Lord.

That is where your peace comes…

“Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The Lord is the everlasting God the creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow weary, and His understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary, and increases the power of the weak.

Even youth grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall in exhaustion.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Isaiah 40:28-31

Take refuge in Him…

Grab some coffee.

Fill your cup…

And live on!
