Feeling confused:  Rest in Him.  He will fight for you.

God will never put confusion in your heart.  Confusion comes from emotions and fear…

So when you feel confused, it’s important to first settle in your mind that what you are feeling… isn’t from God.

1st things first.  Set your mind of truth…

“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace”

1 Corinthians 14:33

God is peace…

Breathe that in…

He is peace….

Then… let the peace of God bind your heart.

“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge…”

Psalm 91:4

Ahhhh! … the presence of God

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for revealing the love that you are…

You are peace.

You are comfort…

My are my refuge.

Your refuge guides me to your love, and comforts my soul.

Thank you for guiding my thoughts and my mind into your presence and truth.

Your presence is where my hope lies… In the quiet of Your bosom… in the shelter of Your wings…

Thank you for drawing me to your heart… You are the author of peace, my redeemer, and my very hope…

I will not fear or be dismayed for you are upholding me…

I take refuge in You…

Being peaceful is an overflow of prayer..

You can’t have one without the other..

Praying… It’s the best stress relief I know.

You are literally laying your worries, fears, stress and hope in the presence of God Almighty…

He is listening with open and loving ears… He is breathing in your heart, and filling your spirit with all that HE is…

He listens with kindness… He touches you with his softness, and calls you by name…

“do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..”

When your heart is mess of crazy… praise Him.

When your worry becomes your focus praise His Holy Name…

Praise Him in your tears…

Praise Him in your fears.

He is the way…

Hold on loosely…

Life is a balance of give and take…

Sometimes we need to take more time to fill our own souls with compassion… to be gentle with our heart, and let the pain slip away…

We need to take a moment to slow it down… way down.  Not push too hard, and not get caught up in the feelings that want to over take us…

Sometimes we need a season of silence… we need to let God’s love overtake our pain…

When we push too hard, we will be filled with stress, worry and all kinds of noise…

Choose peace over worry…

Hope over fear.

Calmness instead of chaos…

Storms will pass… the key is to stay calm.  You can’t calm the storm, but you can calm yourself…

Pursue goodness.  Fill your heart and your mind with hope and peace.

Let God’s grace flow through your soul…

The quieter you become the more you can hear…

Time slips away… days pass.

Today.  Take some time to breath the fresh air, and feel the warmth of the sunshine on your shoulders…

Let life be…

Sometimes our hearts get consumed over details that we think are supposed to be…

We are not living in the present.  We are fighting God’s love, and maybe squandering our moments…

I want to live where I am…  In the tiny moments of now.

Our peace and truth are in God’s love…

God’s love is in the moments of now…

Looking in the eyes of Jesus and believing that our lives are in His hands…

Nothing is not seen by him, and nothing is lost when we believe His plan is unfolding in the moments of now.

Let your soul be touched by God’s kindness…

Love those your with.

Seek goodness.

Forgive quickly…

Let hope grow to full bloom…

In the hard stuff… the really tough stuff.  The stuff that causes confusion or fear… May we consciously look for the glow of the Lord’s sweet light.

A wildflower just grows… shes unconcerned with the weeds around her; she rises in the sunshine and glows of beauty in the midst of the weeds…

she just shines…

When your heart feels tired, and your mind is on repeat.. stop the overthinking, and turn your eyes to Jesus.

“When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and the thirst of every living thing.

The Lord is righteous in everything he does; he is filled with kindness.

The Lord is close to all who call on him.”

Psalm 145: 17

Thank you, Dear Jesus, you satisfy the hunger in my soul..

You quiet my thoughts and fill my heart to overflowing with soothing oils of hope and gladness.

You make me see the sweet things… the beautiful things… the things that are blurred and buried by the noise and confusion…

When we start to look deeper than the problem, we begin to see our Jesus in full bloom… He doesn’t compete for our attention… His spirit is still and quiet, just under the surface of all the noise and confusion, that’s where you’ll find him… :)

No matter the situation, no matter the battle cry… His still small voice is waiting… His quiet spirit is calling you near…

When the battle is strong, the wind is ragging, and the noise is overpowering…

He is there.

He is calm… He is waiting for you to be still… Go before him… Let his presence surround your soul and fill your spirit that your life may glow with hope, with kindness… with love and so much goodwill toward man…

There is beauty in the weeds… have you seen a wildflower?   They grow no matter what is happening around them… they stand tall, and shine bright… they are fragile, yet strong…

They aren’t like the rest of them… lol!  They are sweet, and calming… they are so surprising to see…

The barren fields around them, don’t effect them…

They have purpose in their placement…  nothing has hindered their beauty…

“The wilderness and the dry land will be glad.  The desert will rejoice and blossom like a rose.    

It will blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing…”

Isaiah 35

That is the really good stuff, and when you stop to see it…
