His burden is always easy….

Taking a minute to adjust your thoughts is always a good idea…

If you are feeling burdened and bogged down, there is always a heart shift needed.

Turn your eyes toward Heaven…

Dear God,

As I come before You this new day, I turn my burdened heart toward You…

I so thank You for Your love that never runs out, and never gives up on me.

I turn my eyes toward the beauty of the cross…

The beauty of the love and freedom You bestowed on, and in my life…

Life is short.  Father, today I choose to see the goodness of Your faithfulness and the tenderness of Your hand… I will focus on the people and the life You have set before me…

I want those near me to always see the goodness of Your love… The gentleness of Your touch, and the humbleness of Your love…

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up.

And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

We do this by keeping our eyes upon Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.  Because of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame.

Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

Think of the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you wont become weary and give up.”

Hebrews 12:2

When you let worry.. fear, or persistent thoughts about others take our eyes off of the love God has so beautifully freed your heart from,  you can be sure that God isn’t in it….

Trying to fix or change another person is never our job…

“Come closer,”  He whispers to your heart…

 “Keep your eyes on me…”

“Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed…”

Psalm 34:5

Keep your  heart open and thirsting for His love and goodness.

To keep becoming the best version of our new self in Christ.. He has set us free from the bondage of all those crazy feelings…

Your new  life in Christ is about Your heart being 100 percent in Your Father’s hand… radiating the beauty of the hope that is within you…

That makes life so much easier, doesn’t it!

Our people will find there way in God’s timing…

We don’t have to carry the burden of changing others hearts….

Let your relationship with God be 100 %  focused on letting Him LOVE YOU…   Letting His gentle words of hope fill you to overflowing… and if you do that, His beauty will change you… and the natural overflow of His good and perfect love will slowly be reflected through the eyes of your soul…

It’s a natural overflow and a compete dependence in His tender love and care…

Let God be God…

And you be you…

Listen to these beautiful words of who Jesus is…

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.

He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners…”

We were once captives to despair… He came into our hearts…

He released us and proclaimed freedom over our hearts…

You are a beautiful display of His splendor…

Let His love fill your heart to overflowing…

He has a beautiful life for you in His arms…

Quite a few years ago, after a super hurtful time in my life…

 I felt something in my heart start to change…

I didn’t recognize the power it was starting to have over me…

My mind twisting and turning…  thinking, and thinking… and over thinking!

I just knew if I thought about it enough I could make sense of it… I could do better…  or be better.

Mostly BE BETTER…

Over thinking failures, conversations, other people’s broken hearts or situations… I could so easily tear myself down, and start a spiral of emotions that would paralyze my day!

My mind felt like a bully wanting to control every thought and motive.

So very crippling…

I had let the tender voice of God get buried so deeply, I could only hear myself…

 I had things to figure out!  OK!  I was busy!   Hahaha

What a huge bag of ugly I was digging through!

When You are a believer of Jesus Christ, who died on the cross of your sins…

Your life, your days, and your moments are surrendered into His hands…

There is no more fighting, struggling and tearing apart…

We are set free from these emotional mind games.

That was a cruel and sad time…

Living in my head.  Thinking others were against me… starving for God’s love and approval, and not even knowing that, that was what  I was doing.

I was just busy.  Very busy.  Destroying myself!

Uggggg….

Along came a scripture…

I was… frustrated.. in agony, and I saw these words….

“Yet the Lord LONGS to be gracious to you; therefore He will rise up to show you compassion.  For the Lord is a God of Justice.

Blessed are all who wait for Him”

Isaiah 30:18

The first word that jumped out to me was “LONGS”

He was longing to be gracious to me…

but in my business, and self destruction… I forgot who I was In Christ.

I just started crying…

There was His sweet tender voice…

And it hit me.

What am I doing to myself?

My God and my Savior …

My Redeemer and friend…

Never left me…

I didn’t think I deserved His quiet touch… so evidently I was beating myself up for Him!

And…

I was doing an awesome job :)  haha

He LONGS to be gracious to YOU.

How happy am I to be able to tell YOU such a precious truth…

If you are reading this it’s obvious you have been seeking, searching and staying near to God’s word of love and hope…

You have been waiting on HIM…

And He says to your tired and weary heart…

Blessed are you, Dear Friend…

Get up. and get out of your head…

Live in the light of His tender words that He pours over Your moments…

He is the love of your life, and the author of your days…

“Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth and righteousness looks down from Heaven.”

Psalm 85:10-11

We are modeling what true love looks like… Unconditional, real, and pure…

God chose You.

God is near.

I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

You don’t have to rush.. push or complain…

“The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need.”

Psalm 23: 1

Rest in His goodness and grace….  And love the ones you are with :)

Your people are watching.

You matter :)

Cleanse my heart, Oh Lord,

I want to make a difference in my home…

In my world…

If I start to believe my days do not matter, how I pray my heart will quickly turn to the tenderness of Your love….

May Your love fill me to overflowing.

I have this one life..

I want to imprint Your beauty wherever I am…

Thank You for changing the direction of my life, and giving me hope. Purpose and direction…

More grace…

More hope…

More goodness than we could ever ask for….

“And hope does not disappoint us because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, Christ died for us. 

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

While we were still sinners…

God doesn’t wait until we have it all figured it… We will always be a work in progress…

Ahhhh…..

That is music to my ears…

I need His strength to keep going. To keep pushing ahead, and to keep letting go of my yesterdays..

We need His hope of truth to live in today, and make today count for His glory and the love of those He surrounds our lives with…

We need His grace upon grace to push ahead and be the people He has called us to be..

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus too hold of me. Brothers I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it, But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind me and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:15

We got this…

Letting go of what lies behind..

Excited about what is to come..

May we live for today…

May our hearts be settled in Your grace..

Keeping my thoughts on Your truths.

Moving forward in harmony,  and covered by grace.

Listening for Your still small voice that penetrates the fear that can surround my heart.

Trusting You with all that I am.

I am learning so much about pushing my life forward and living in the moments of today.

Keeping my thoughts on what is. Not what was, or what is to come..

Our Heavenly Father, meets us today…

In the moments of right now.

He draws us our of our own thoughts, and  ideas,  and  He cleanses us with hope, truth and life.

He sees our hearts, and hears our cries…

He bends down low, so we can stand lean on His side.

Remember how good He was to Mary…

“Mary was standing outside the tomb crying, and as she wept, she stooped and looked in.  She saw two white robbed angels sitting at the head and foot of the place where the body of Jesus had been lying.

 Why are you crying?”  the angels asked her. “Because they have taken away my Lord,” she replied, “and I don’t know where they have put Him.”

She glanced over her shoulder and saw someone standing behind her.  It was Jesus, but she didn’t recognize Him.

“Why are you crying?”

Jesus asked her, “Who are you looking for?”

She thought He was the gardener.

“Sir” she said, “If you have taken Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will go and get Him.

“Mary!” Jesus said.

She turned toward Him and exclaimed,

“Teacher!”

How beautiful is that!

We have the Great I Am calling our name…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today, as I drink in the love You so lavish on my heart… I want to say thank You.

As I walk in the moments of today, may I remember You are by my side…

You are but a breath away…

I give You my today…

Help me to keep pushing forward…

Living out love and being the best me I can be…
