” If I could speak in any language in heaven or on earth but didn’t love others, I would only be making meaningless noise like loud gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I had the gift of prophesy, and if I knew all the mysteries of the future and knew everything about everything, but didn’t love others, what good would I be?
And if I had the gift of faith so that I could speak to a mountain and make it move, without love, I would be no good to anybody.
If I gave everything to the poor and sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would be of no value whatsoever..”
1 Corinthians 13: 1-3
Each and everyone of those words speaks so tenderly…
When we are stripped down to the inner most part of our hearts…
Is there love?
Oh, Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for today..
Thank You for Your tender love that draws me close…
How I pray for a softened heart to hear Your words, An open heart to accept Your kindness…
And a willingness to be the woman You know I can be..
To love in the quietness of my heart…
That my life wouldn’t be a loud gong, or a clanging cymbal.
Forgive my pridefullness… the thoughts that turn my eyes away from Your love, and taint my heart…
In the quietness of my soul, I see Your beauty…
That is a beautiful.. beautiful place.
Help me to walk in the Sunshine…
Believing In Your words of goodness and grace…
For there is where I find my strength..
I love You, Jesus,
In Your Name, I pray,
Amen
Live in Love,
Lisa
“There are three things that will remain faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love..”
