Good Morning, Heavenly Father,
As I come before You this new day, I sense my heart melting in the presence of Your
light…
Releasing my heart into Your hands, I am soothed by Your gentleness, and cleansed by
Your power…
Walking in faith, living in the light, keeping my heart softened from Your touch…
You fill me with confident hope, that; there is so much more than meets the eye…
Your are working in our lives in a symphony of beauty…
You are chipping away at the hardened places, and releasing truth over each lie…
Your goodness reaches my innermost being, and my soul finds rest…
I give you my day, Dear Father,
May others know the beauty of Your love…

If chaos is threatening to overpower your soul,
If fear, or anger begin to strengthen there grip…
Take a breath…
Run to His arms, and don’t turn back…
“But the Lord has become my fortress.
And my God in whom I take refuge.”
Psalm 94:22
His refuge is quiet…
Soft and full of compassion…
His refuge is different from the worlds call to scream and shout… of anger, judgement
and revenge…
There is calmness in Your presence,
Oh Lord,
There is strength in Your arms….
Your touch soothes my worry, and draws me
present…
When my flesh craves control, My soul is whispering Your name…
When I turn my eyes to the softening of Your touch,
There is beauty and song…
Hope and peace…
“When I said, my foot is slipping, Your love, O Lord, supported me.
When
anxiety was great within me, your consolations brought joy to my soul.”
Psalm 94:19
Your love centers my soul; my heart is calmed by the beauty of Your goodness…

You Are A Blessing… #Arise
Growing in strength, and trusting God right where you are, is living on purpose…
If we believe that God has our days; and our hearts, then we need to believe that we are
right where we are supposed to be… until we are not.
Striving for direction, and living to change others will certainly be our down fall…
We only have the moments that we are living in…
Moment by Moment…
Sometimes, when our lives don’t make sense, we would be smart to consider … that maybe… just maybe… we are being used as a blessing to someone else, so that their life does makes sense…
Does that make sense? Hahaha
Bleeding hope, and a sense of belonging into another’s heart, even if our heart is broken,
stirs something deep within our soul, doesn’t it…
Jesus was our most perfect example of such love…
As He walked through the valley of death, knowing that His time in the world was limited, He surrendered His own emotions and feelings to walk in the power of God’s love and plan for His life.
Jesus whole life was about comforting those who felt lost in the world…
He has a plan…
We all have regrets… sorrow, and heartache… for sure!
But…
If we keep hashing and rehashing pain, worry… anger or resentment in our minds, we block the love God wants to pour through us.
People will let you down.
You will let people down.
Both of which should not take control of our mind, and stir us off track.
We can so be our own worst enemy…
I feel like our lives are like cars driving casually along an open road… we hit bumps, get our of gear, crash, and sometimes break down…
Being a quick and determined lover of God, forgiver, helper, and friend, keeps our cars on
the roadway, and strengthens our engines :)
We rise by lifting others…
Those words; comfort and surround my heart with goodness.
Surrender of self is a fight within our soul… yet; that’s the very place we find God’s hope, peace and God’s will for our lives…
Surrendering means putting my feelings behind me. It means focusing all of my energy, hope; and thoughts on who God is..
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?”
Jesus replied:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind.
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is this,
‘Love your neighbor as yourself’
Matthew 22: 37-40
Our days are limited…
Jesus kept His eyes on God.
Not on emotions and feelings.
He trusted God’s plan, and didn’t focus on fear or worry…
(And boy he had a lot of darkness ahead of Him, didn’t He?”
He believed all the good God was doing through His life…
He knew His life was on purpose, and for God’s purpose.
And so are ours…
“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to
harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
Keep on keeping on…

Dear Heavenly Father,
I just want to take a minute to breathe that in…
I am blameless in Your sight…
I am loved. I am esteemed…
My life has value…
You have chosen to bestow favor and honor over me…
I have no words for such a gift…
Thank You…
I choose to look for the good, and I choose to be the good…
To breathe in Your beauty… and breath out Your hope.
Your goodness sets my soul free.
Your favor fills me with strength.
Your favor changes the way I see life…
Your favor is my courage.
What a joy…
What a God…

Keep Rowing… #Arise
“A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough.
When they had rowed 3 or 3 and half miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the
water;
and they were terrified.
But He said to them,
“It is I; don’t be afraid.”
Then they were willing to take Him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore
where they were heading.”
John 6: 18-20
Dear Heavenly Father,
Growing in strength, and living in grace is the heart beat of my soul…
As the disciplines were rowing and the waters started raging, they kept moving…
They kept rowing…
In a distance they saw You…
It was dark…
The winds were blowing…
The waters beginning to rage…
Their first reaction when they saw You in the distance was to be terrified…
But Your first words to their tired bodies… and worried minds,
was…
“It is I; Do not be afraid.”
How awesome is that.
Do not be afraid…
He knows us better than we know ourselves…
He says to our hearts…
It is I; Do not be afraid!
Jesus was in front of them…
Walking toward them.
He got on the boat with them, and got them to the other side…
He went with them forward…
He didn’t let them go alone…
As we walk forward into the big and vas unknown…
We can be sure that Jesus is walking with us… and waiting for us when the storm begins
to rage…
The guys were just trying to get to the other side of the lake,
That’s it!
But in such a short distance, so much turmoil can happen…
Our thoughts are like oceans…
Big and open…
flowing and moving all over our minds….
They can; and will draw us back…
And take us under…
When the wind started blowing, they could have started back in the direction they knew…
They could have panicked and even drowned…
But afraid, they kept rowing forward into the unknown…
And look who was waiting for them…
Jesus, Himself…
Walking on the water with His eyes on them.
We have to keep rowing forward…
Keeping our eyes on Jesus; who is in front of us, not behind us…
He is waiting to join us on our new found
adventure…
We are headed to the other side of the lake…
Where hope, joy, and the peace of Jesus’ love walks with us…
He is our peace.
He is our hope.
Keep rowing…
Keep walking…
There is so much good on the other side…
