Open Arms…

When you are fighting a battle you just don’t understand…

When heartache and sorrow fill your heart with pain, take refuge in the one who fights for You…

“But let all who take refuge in you be glad;  let them ever sing of Your joy.  Spread Your protection over them that those who love Your name may rejoice in You.  For surely, Oh Lord You bless the *righteous (*those who have surrendered their hearts into Your hands) You surround them with Your favor as with a shield..”

Psalm 5: 11-12

Whenever I see the word righteous, I have to confess that that word always triggers a button in my heart that makes me feel unworthy..

If that is the same with you, I want to express to you, that once you have accepted Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior.  Once you have agreed with Him that you have sinned.. that you have hurt Him, others and yourself.. that you need His loving hand of forgiveness, compassion and grace living in your heart..

That you need Jesus to come into your heart..

He makes all things new…

You have been made righteous…

which means you have been made right with God..

You are forever worthy to stand in His great presence and love!

Dear Heavenly Father, good morning.. I want to take this time to let Your spirit fill me.  To be still and know that You are God.  I am tired of fighting my battles.. It’s hard and I feel so alone.  Please, Dear God take my fight as I surrender my battle into Your hands.  Release me from thinking I have to be something I am not.. Help me to trust that You will, and are the one fighting for me.  Thank You for Your great protection.  Let my words be few.  Let Your beauty and loving kindness be exhibited in my life that others would see the hope and mercy that only come from You…

I love and need You…

In Jesus’ Name,

I pray,

Amen.

“That if you confess with your mouth.  Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  As the scripture say, : Anyone who trust in Him will never be put to shame.  For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile. The same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him.  For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved…”

Everyone!

How beautiful and unconditional is God’s love!

Live in Love,

Lisa
