“Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past.
See I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
It can be so hard to let go of the things in the past, can’t it?
A conversation, that maybe didn’t go the way you wanted it to, or a friendship that you know is not good for you… maybe a love lost… or even the worst, the death of a loved one.
Moving forward doesn’t mean forgetting what has happened, it just means living for now.
It means not letting our hearts camp out, unpack, and live in our thoughts over, and over, and over again…
It means to get up; and get moving :)
For me this can be such a struggle…
I can so easily look back and want to change something…
But you know the difference I am talking about??
When you do perceive God’s gentle nudge of compassion, and His Hand of redirection…
That is the call of freedom.
Take it :)
Heavenly Father, How I praise Your great love, and so thank You for Your call of freedom in my life.
I gladly lay down my crazy inner thoughts, and open my heart to Your new direction in my life…
How I seek Your hand of strength as I lay down the rotting thoughts in my mind, and let the beauty of Your voice and loveliness of Your goodness give me new hope, and new direction.
Today most certainly is a day that You have created…
I want to be glad in it!
In Jesus Name, I pray,
Love someone sweetly today :)
Live in Love,
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it..”
Psalm 118: 23-24
Love someone today!
