“For even I, the son of man, came here not to be served, but to serve others, and to give
my life as a ransom for many.”
Mark 10:45
Jesus’ words pierce like a knife…
He came to serve, and He give His life as a ransom, that even in our hour of darkness, He
chose you and I.
He blanketed us in His perfect love …
“But God demonstrated His perfect love for us in this this:
while yet we were still sinners, Christ died for us…”
Romans 5:8
He didn’t ask for anything in return…
No.
He came to give us life… and life abundant.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;
I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.
I am the good shepherd.
The good shepherd sacrifices His life for the sheep.”
John 10:11
If we are to live an abundant life of love and hope, we need to fix our eyes on Jesus…
This is the only way through the valley of fear and worry…
We stand at His Holy throne…
Covered by grace, and injected with courage…
We do better…
We love more…
We surrender our right to be served, and we serve…
We serve our families, our coworkers, our friends and our communities in love.
We take our eyes off of our selves and our difficulties ….and we just serve…
Right. Where. We. Are…
We fill our homes and our work place surroundings with songs of great joy…
Jesus was our perfect example…
Jesus,
Thank You for loving me.
For fighting for me and touching every part of my soul with Your hope and courage…
You remind me that nothing on earth is ever perfect…
We will always have trouble, but how we get through those hours is a choice of faith…
I chose You.
I chose to seek out good..
I chose to work hard at being the best I can be, and not to fix others …
I chose to live a life of passion… surrendered in Your grace and make my home a place of refuge and beauty…
I choose to focus on Your beauty, and to shine of all that You are, that lives will be changed
because I chose to follow Your heart of compassion…
Hope…
And loving kindness..
It’s not about me, Oh Lord,
It all about You..
And
I thank You so much for all that You are doing in and around my heart and life…
I so love You,
In Jesus Name,
I pray,
Amen
Live in Love,
Lisa
“…. and be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age…”
Matthew 28:20
