Control Freaks Unite! #Hopeoverflowing :)

Control freaks UNITE!

So it turns out when I can’t control a situation, I tend to freak out… lol

I have good days, bad days, really bad days, then really good days :)

The crazy is real.

The Bible talks about seasons…

That there is a season for everything under the sun…

{Ecclesiastics: 3}

So for those of us going through a season that feels overwhelming.. A season that feels like you’re stuck… like trying to run in mud… A season where it actually feels like time is standing still, and you want to be like… HELLO?  Is anybody there?!  LOL

A season where you can do nothing to change, or push, or control circumstances…

You  know those seasons?? lol

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I a helped.  My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song…”

Psalm 28:7

Sometimes, the last thing our messy mind wants to do is stop…

Our mind wants to wander and think, and overthink…

But if you stop for just a moment, you’ll sense something different… something longing, and yearning…

It is the place where His power overcomes my weakness.

We will go through times where we are defiantly given more than we can handle…

And in those times, you can be sure God is handling the situation with purpose and meaning

I have found that the best and only way for me  to be still in hope, and at peace in prayer, is to sit in the Lord’s presence…  that in the time I spend in prayer and petition is the only life source that changes my perspective.

So we kneel…

We let God in our locked doors, and through away the key…

Let Him touch and feel and carry your burden.

That’s where faith meets fear…

How I pray today, after we kneel we rise.

Let’s rise, and trust and let go of our emotions…

Let’s live big.  Give back.  And let God use us to love others and fill us with the things He wants to fill us with…

Way more of you, Dear Jesus, and way less of me.

“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and take heart and wait for the Lord.”

Psalm 27:14

“It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect.

He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights… you give me your shield of victory, and your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great.  You broaden the path beneath me so my ankles do not turn.”

Psalm 18:41

Amen!

Have the best day :)

Live in Love,

Lisa
