“Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame..”

Psalm 34:5

How refreshing is that!  When we look to God for our hope, we actually glow of His radiance…  No matter what we are going through, we are safe in God’s presence.

We will not be covered in shame…sigh…. let that sink in for a minute.

We can’t please everybody, and the good news is we don’t have to! How beautifully freeing is that :)  God’s purpose, and hope for our lives is that we would know Him, seek Him… trust in Him alone.   The Bible says… ” I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future..”  Jeremiah 29:11

Before I let God into my heart and my life, the feelings of hopelessness, people pleasing, running from one emotion to another kept me very, very busy, but definitely not living!  When I opened my heart to Jesus, the word quietly slipped away… Pleasing God, and living a life beautiful in His eyes has replaced my tendency to look beyond what I can handle, and focus on what is real.  God wants to love you!

Dear Heavenly Father, How I want to trust you more, know you more… Please, will you fill me with who you are, I can be so burdened by past mistakes, injustices, people pleasing.. Will you please come into my heart, forgive me of the things large and small that I cannot change, and replace these thoughts with your love and goodness.  I am your daughter, The daughter of the King most High. Dear God, help me to know how beautiful I am to you.
