you are going to get us all killed yeled the brain

” Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me, but He said to me,

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s

power may rest on me.”

2 Corinthians 12:7

I love these words so so much…

They cover my heart with the sweetness of God’s embrace, confirming to my spirit that I am not crazy!  haha

I have weaknesses …

So many weaknesses…

I am not confident… I hurt for other’s pain… A lot…

I can be overwhelmed with sadness in like a minute flat.

I don’t fit in very well…

I worry that I come off overwhelming, annoying .. :)

I even worry that I smile too much :/  (I mean really?!!)

I have awesome anxiety, and I struggle with being around grown ups! LOL

And that’s the few that I am willing to admit! Hahaha

My weaknesses could keep me from reaching out to kindred hearts…

But God’s overwhelming love supports, and comforts me.

Nothing in my natural nature wants to be uncomfortable…

I am not bold or equipped that way…

Can you see the problem? :)

At my lowest, I cried out to God to change me…

That if I was going to be able to walk this new life He has for me, then I would need to be fixed of these things…

And to be very honest,

I have never been “Fixed”

But I have been changed…

God’s spirit that lives inside of me, encourages, and equips me for the day,

and for the people and situations that arise along the way…

Look at your own weakness…

Maybe list them…  and give each one to God…

Let Him show you how He

wants to use them as a river overflowing from your life to other’s hearts

and lives…

“In our weakness He is strong…”

I have learned, and still have to be reminded a lot, that my weaknesses are for a purpose…

They make me crave more of God…

They make me rely, depend, and love Him more deeply…

He chose you…

He chose me…

He is our Father, and the lover of our soul.

“… Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that

Christ’s power may rest on me…”

I love that so much…

Though we may feel weak… we are covered with strength… because His

power rests on you…

As we continue to walk forward … leaving the dust and rubble behind…

We can trust God in our weaknesses…

We can trust God with our today!

Live in Love,

Lisa
