Reach For It… #Arise

Don't look back

After you and I have made a very conscious choice to let the chains of our past fall away, it

is important to stand securely in God’s promises.

We have let our failures, and  hurts…  our fear, and our confusion, dictate our path…

When we begin to understand  that we have to let failures, feelings, and sometimes

people,  go…

We are not saying we don’t care…

We are saying,

I am scared…

I don’t know how to move forward…

Help!  God, I need You.  I can’t do this on my own…

The things  that have happened in our yesterdays, are the very  things  we cannot change.  They  are stumbling blocks.  They will trip us up and keep up feeling further from  the embrace of God’s grace over our weary hearts…

That is a trial.

It’s like we’re  sitting in a court room, and we are our own judge.  Do we open our clinched fist, and hand over our pain to God, or do we sentence ourselves a life of prison?  A life misery and pain?

When we chose let go,  we reach out, and grab the hand of God.

And when we grab the hand of God, we can hear Him whisper His truths that set us free…

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.

In this world you will have trouble.

But take heart!

I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33

That is where clarity  and hope pierce the darkness, and we find our life.

“In Him”  ALONE…

“He will cover you with His feathers.  He will shelter you with His wings.  His faithful promises are your armor and protection.”

Psalm 91:4

In each trial there will be goodness, and grace..

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him”

John 3:17

“He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters.  He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.”

Psalm 18:17

God has called you according to His good purposes …

We cannot let our hearts, and our lives be destroyed by the past.

God knew we would have that tendency…

We need to grab the truths of His love, and let Him have our days once

again…

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose…”

Romans 8:28

Dear Heavenly Father,

In my darkest moments Your love has never left me.

You came that I would be set free from the sin and darkness that wants to destroy…

You are my redeemer, and strength.

As I learn how to stand once again,

I am running into Your arms of safety and truth.

I will rest in Your care…

Covered by Your glory…

Cleansed by Your light.

I love You,

In Jesus Name,

I pray,

Amen

Live in Love,

Lisa
