Shield and Refuge… #hope

Oh Dear Father,

Thank You so much for Your word of hope…

Your truths are flawless…

Your love forever.

Thank You so much that there is nothing I can do to make You turn Your eyes from me…

You are my safety when I feel scared…

You are my comfort in times of sadness and sorrow…

You are my rock when I am feeling insecure and afraid..

You are my refuge when I am overwhelmed and unsure…

I come before You this new beautiful day, needing to rest in these truths…

Seeking Your  safety, comfort, security, and hope…

Thank You that I can put all of my trust…

My fears…

All at Your feet…

How thankful I am to know the King of Kings loves me..

I love You Jesus,

People Pleasing… Stop That… #shineon

People pleasing..

Approval…

Fear of what someone might think of me… can easily cripple me..

I love people..

But I need God more.

Being still.  Learning to let God in every crevasse of my being, fills me with truth…

strength and hope.

He is our true Refuge…

Our fortress when we are weak…

Oh, Dear Heavenly Father, turn our eyes toward You..

Help us to be true to Your voice in our lives…

Not tossed and turned by what other’s are doing…

Keep me safe.

Secure.

Walking in sync with Your truths that You so quietly whisper to our hearts…

I need Your approval flowing through my life…

You are my strong tower..

My refuge and strength.

May I walk confidently in Your truths..

May I listen expectantly for Your voice…

Thank You for keeping me safe…

Dear Heavenly Father,

Your love and faithfulness are beyond my understanding…

Thank You for entering my heart; My life…

freeing me from the poison of strife and hate…

Thank You for giving me eyes to see what Your love truly looks like…

It is beautiful, tender, honest and pure…

It keeps no record of wrongs…

You love unconditionally…

You are the most soft hearted of us all….

Oh, Lord, keep my heart soft for You…

Craving You…

Caught in Your grace

Lord that other’s would see Your reflection in our  eyes…

May they know You are gentle…

Holy..

And love us so dearly…

Gossip… #encourageoneanother

Proverbs 26:20

Such beautiful words of truth…

Not talking too much, letting things die down surrounds my heart  with peace that transcends all understanding…

Gossip hurts…

It hurts the person were talking about, and tears at our peace with never ending chatter….

Dear Heavenly Father,

How I seek Your heart on this matter…

I come before You this new and beautiful day, praying for truth and thanking You for Your heart of goodness and peace.

Help me to understand what gossip is, and fill me with the wisdom to lay things down…

Seeking Your peace above all things is my heart’s desire…

I so don’t want to stir things up in and around my life…

People matter…

May Your goodness and mercy prevail…

Oh, Lord, soften my heart… give me wisdom to lay things down.. strengthen my faith as I trust in Your words.

Good Morning, Dear Heavenly Father,

How I thank You for bending low to hear the cries of my heart…

Thank You for coming along side of us… teaching,  encouraging,  and pouring Your loving spirit in… and through our lives.

As I read these words this morning, my heart tugged at me…

“How many times have I sung songs to a heavy heart…?”

Oh, Father,

Thank You so much for this sweet reminder…

Forgive me for the times I have been hasty with my words…

The times I have talked more about myself, instead of listening to the hearts of others…

Soften my heart, Oh Lord, to be a good listener…

Cleanse me..

I want to listen…

To love…

To use my words for good…

That those who cross my path, will be uplifted…

Encouraged…

Always seeing a glimpse of Your great Love for them…

Help me to sing songs of hope over those You so dearly love…

Oh, Lord, How I deeply  love You…

Coming before You this beautiful new fall day, I thank You for Your love and comfort…. Hope and forgiveness…

I so treasure Your words of goodness…

The tenderness of who You are that flows onto the pages of Your heart…

Father, help me to build my house through understanding…

Help me to walk through each room in my mind.. cleanse it, and fill it with the beauty of Your Spirit…

 Your rare and beautiful treasures..

Treasures of

love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, and gentleness…

It’s not about the things we acquire…For they come and they go…

But instead;

 it’s about You

And the beauty of who You are…

Oh, Lord fill my home with the aroma of who You are…

May all those who enter be surrounded by Your tenderness and grace…

That is wisdom indeed…

Good Morning Heavenly Father,

Thank You for this new day…

Thank You for Your words truth and light.

Thank You for Your love and goodness that You so graciously bleed into my heart…

How I pray that my heart would be softened, and open for Your instruction…

That my ears would be tuned toward Your words of wisdom and truth…

That my heart wouldn’t be deceived of what is good, and right, and true…

Help me to crave Your words…

That they would be the light unto my path…

This world can be dark… full of interruptions and discouragement..

But Your Love, Oh, Lord, fills me with hope, and pierces the darkness..

Thank You for Your word of Hope that always leads me into Your presence, fills me with grace, and cleanses my heart…

Thank You for keeping my eyes on You..

Dear Heavenly Father, I love You so much.  So thankful for Your gentle spirit that whispers truth, hope, and sweetness into my soul..

How I seek to be pure at heart in Your presence… Giving You all that I am, praying for my heart to be still..

Consumed by Your love…

 Thanking You for Your sweet forgiveness of sin that washes over my mind…

May my words reflect Your goodness…

Your graciousness..

How I  thank You that You have pierced my life …

Covering me with such tenderness and joy…

 You have become my Father, my Redeemer…

My Friend..

And

My King…

I am so humbled by Your love and goodness…

May all that I am be beautiful in Your eyes…

Walking in the light of who You are…

Thankful that You search me and know me…

Thankful that I can keep my heart cleansed in Your presence… Not worrying about what others think, but knowing who I am in You…

A daughter of the King most High..

How truly joyful it is to know that in You I have no deceit…

I am whole, valued and loved…

That gives me peace…

That gives me life..

I give You my day, praying for Your loving hand to touch those around me…

Give me the courage to walk in Your light, loving those as You have loved me..

You know my heart, my thoughts and my plans….

What a relief to know I can’t miss all that You have for my life…

Father, I seek Your direction, please cover my heart with peace and understanding…

You have control,

May Your good purposes prevail…

Help me, Oh Lord, to  live my life one day at a time.   Making the best decisions for each opportunity, while quietly holding close to my heart Your beautiful words of hope…

“but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails…”

I believe that with all of my heart…
