If you feel tempted to look back…

To analyze  or recreate old scenarios in your mind, how I pray you would catch yourself and live in the moments of today…

The amazing grace and beauty of God’s love for me, and you is that the past is gone.

Period.

Every day… Every new minute…

The past is gone.

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.  The old has gone, the new here!”

2 Corinthians 5:17

God even made sure there was an exclamation  point so we would see the amazing joy in what He was saying!

“the old is gone, the new has come!!!!!!!!”

That is His grace being poured out over our hearts and minds…

It was His great joy to draw your hurting heart into His courts of forgiveness and healing…

“For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love.”

Ephesians 1:4

We, as Christ followers, were set free from that road of condemnation, destruction, and  despair when we cried out to God and asked Him to come into our hearts… at that very moment, our lives were made new…

The past was taken away and His plans for us were set in motion…

We were, and are cleansed, forgiven and redeemed for God’s sweet and amazing purpose for our lives in Him..

“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but my ears you have pierced,

burnt offering and sin offerings you did not require.

Then I said, 

“Here I am,  have come … It is written about me in the scroll.

I delight  to do Your will, O my God, Your law is within my heart..”

Psalm 40: 6-8

He wants to use your life to make beautiful things…

To let go of what was and live in what is, is a sacrifice …

We are laying down our lives and saying …

It’s not about me anymore, God,

It’s all about You…

Use my life…

And that is exactly what Jesus did when He died on the cross for our sins…

He layed down His life as an example for us…

“When the Holy Spirit comes into our lives, our greatest desire is to lay down our lives for Jesus… that is the ultimate expression of love.”

Dear Heavenly Father,

I lay down my life for You…

Please use my days to shine of  Your  freedom and beauty..

Your grace has set me free from all that was…

Your love has captured my heart…

Don’t let me waste anymore time looking back at the rubble, and  trash you have burned and destroyed…

I will look forward…  to the beauty of Your tender mercies and amazing grace…

“For by grace you have been saved through faith:  And this is not through your own doing, it is a gift from God.”

Ephesians 2:8

How amazing is Your love that You chose me…

‘Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise, and He chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful..”

1 Corinthians 1:27

How awesome is that?!

I trust You Father,

I chose You back… Everyday… Every hour…

Use my todays to make beautiful things…

How I love and adore You…

In Jesus Name,

No more looking back :)

You can believe this…

You can rest in His timing and care…

He is working things in and around your life for His good purposes and for Your heart to be whole…

Complete in Him.

“I am the vine; you are the branches.  If you remain in me and I in you, then you will bear much fruit.  

For apart from me you can do nothing.”

How do you remain in God?

Once you have received Jesus as your savior… the lover of your soul, the precious story of your new life has begun…

To remain in God is simply acknowledging His presence in your life…

Praying … Praising…

Worshiping ….

Trusting.

Surrendering…

Making sure you draw close to Him each day that you are alive.

It is a journey of love..

a journey of hope and cleansing…

I have made that commitment…

I can’t do life without You, Oh Lord…

… Opening His word of hope, gleaning His goodness and grace.

Letting all that He is abide in all that you are not.

Worshiping in His goodness.

Letting God live and abide… flow and renew..

Cleanse and change you.

That is the best way to start your day…

God promises you that if you remain in Him, and He remains in you then your life will indeed produce good fruit.. “MUCH fruit”

The fruit of the spirit is..

“Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control…”

Galatians 5:22-23

This fruit is the best nourishment I could ever hope for…

He is filling your heart with all the good that He has to offer…

And

Your life is overflowing with the beauty of His presence and peace…

Have you made that commitment to stay close…  to remain in Him…

This is not about a list of what you need to do…

This is about worship… Letting your heart be stilled, then filled to overflowing.

For He said…

“Apart from me you can do nothing…”

Oh Lord,

I desire to stay close to Your heart…

To come daily into Your presence with a surrendered heart…

Arms raised high…

Oh Lord,

I let all the guilt and shame…

all the ugliness that holds me back raise to Your throne…

Never to be seen again…

I surrender all that you would be able to fill me with all the goodness and love You have promised to those who remain in you…

I want that :)

I give you my day…

My heart…

“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

Psalm 51:10

Today I will focus on You…

On the love you have poured over my soul..

It’s not about me anymore…

It’s all about You.
