Your Life Matters. Everyday… #Hisgoodness

one lifeYour life is making a difference.

Your heart for God, and family, and friends matters…

Keep going… doing the little things…

Making your bed, doing laundry, laughing with a child… praying..

All the little things we do from our heart s is pure gold to God.

“Surely Your goodness and unfailing love will purse me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever…”

Psalm 23 1-6

We are shaping the next generations…

We are modeling what true love looks like… Unconditional, real, and pure…

God chose You.

God is near.

“I have chosen you and have not rejected you. do not me dismayed for I am Your God.

I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Isiah 41:10

You don’t have to rush.. push or complain…

“The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need.”

Psalm 23: 1

Rest in His goodness and grace….  And love the ones you are with :)

Today matters…

Your people are watching.

You matter :)

“For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all His saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.  I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.  I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance …”

Ephesians 1:15-18

Cleanse my heart, Oh Lord,

I want to make a difference in my home…

In my world…

If I start to believe my days do not matter, how I pray my heart will quickly turn to the tenderness of Your love….

May Your love fill me to overflowing.

I have this one life..

I want to imprint Your beauty wherever I am…

Thank You for changing the direction of my life, and giving me hope. Purpose and direction…

Loving others matters to You :)

It’s Not About You… #encourageoneanother

It’s not about you.

It’s not about me.

It’s about loving others…

That’s what sets our hearts free :)

Dear Heavenly Father,

I want to see the best in others…

I want to use my powers for good…  :)

To keep my eyes on what is true, and right, and praiseworthy..

It can be so easy to walk through our day with blinders on…

Just surviving and not seeing the wounded around us…

We are all fighting battles no one knows about…

Kindness and compassion…gentleness and humility…and a little laughter can change someone’s whole day.

I want to do that!

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for the beautiful gift of Your loving kindness which You so richly infuse our lives with..

Please fill my heart with the overflowing presence of all that You are…

Today.  I will love.

I pray that my eyes will be open to the lost, and the hurting…

I pray my ears will be open to the sounds of distress and heartache…

Just one kind word really can change someones whole day…

Use me, Oh Lord, to help lighten someone’s heavy load…

God is at work in and around your life…

How I pray we would be mindful of His touch, and loving care….

Every day, He is fighting for our hearts.. strengthening our minds, and preparing us for good works…

May we rejoice in His great inheritance, and hold close to His everlasting joy that is our portion now and forever…

Heavenly Father,

As I look to your loving care, I know I can’t do this day on my own…

Thank you for filling my heart with Your truths…

I am the daughter of the king most high…

I am safe…

I am strong..

May my heart be fierce with hope, and my mind focused on the joy of Your salvation…

Don’t Give Up…! #courage

be fearless...“May He grant your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans.

May you know how deep, and wide, and pure, and true  the love of the Father is over you…

He has tucked away the desires of your heart… they are waiting for you to unfold.

Love, peace, mercy and grace surround you like a warm wind storm circling from above.

His banner over you is love…

Be strong and courageous..

Stay in the light, and let His whispers of hope cover your heart and release your fear…

“In times of trouble, may the Lord respond to your cry.

May the God of Israel keep you safe from all harm.

May He send you help from His sanctuary..”

Psalm 20:1-2

What A Beautiful Mess… #foreverfaithful

hot mess“It is God  who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect.

He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to stand on heights.

 He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

 You give me Your shield of victory and Your right hand sustains me;

You stoop down to make me great.

“You broaden the path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn..”

Psalm 18: 32-36

As I read these words of amazing truth and strength, I feel my heart being overwhelmed by the love of my Heavenly Father…

“It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect…”

Oh Lord, how truly majestic You are…

You arm me with strength when I just can’t stand on my own…

You are making my way perfect in Your sight and guiding me to new heights…

“You give me Your shield of victory and Your right hand sustains me; you stoop down to make me great.”

Your shield of victory covers and sustains me…

Your power and might surround and hold me…

“You broaden my path beneath me, so that my ankles do not turn…”

Because You have broaden the path before me, I can keep walking this path laid before me…

I am so very thankful for Your love that surrounds me with…

Oh Lord,

You are my strength… my Rock…

My fortress, and my Savior..

“I love You Lord; you are my strength.  The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection..”

You Are Strong… #foreverfaithful

wonder womanWhen you are tempted to look back, and turn your focus inward…

When your mind is tearing you down, and your thoughts turn from hope to defeat…

STOP…

It’s not about you…

When you are a new creation in Christ your life is not about you anymore…

It is about loving God…

And loving others…

“… which is the greatest commandment in the law? Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”

This is the first and greatest commandment.

 And the second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Matthew 22:37-39

We are to move forward…

We are to keep God’s first and greatest commandment on the forefront  of our hearts and minds…

And…

We are to…

Keep your faith alive with hope…

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe He exists, and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.”

Hebrews 11:6

To be paralyzed over your yesterdays,   to analyze, complain and worry… To keep looking at our faults, fears, and expectations…

None of these things please God…

What pleases God?

Faith pleases God :)

Faith in His awesomeness and power…

Faith in His glory and majesty…

Faith in His Hand of redemption and purpose…

Keep your eyes on the bigger picture…

Don’t get caught up in the weeds of fear…

By faith you were set free…

By faith you are a living, beautiful, redeemed child of God’s…

By faith you will change your world…

Keep loving…

Keep shinning…

Your people need to see God’s love, and He is using You… His chosen vessel; to be His hands, heart  and feet…

The world is watching…

Your family, spouse, loved ones, and friends…

All watching…

Are you living love…?

Walk in freedom of Your redemption and set your world on fire…

“So then, dear friends, the point is this: The law no longer holds you in its power, because you died to its power when you died with Christ on the cross. And now you are united with one who was raised from the dead. As a result you can produce good fruit, that is, good deeds for God.”

Romans 7:4

It’ll Be Okay … #goodness

it will be okayWhen the feelings of defeat, or self-condemnation start to tug at your heart,

When you start to entertain feelings of hopelessness or isolation…

God is calling you near…

He sees your heart, He knows your pain…

Turn quickly to the joy of being in His presence, and the strength of His loving goodness..

When those feelings seem so real… so overwhelming, He is near.

“Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest, take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls…”

Matthew 11:28-29

Father,

I look to you in my most vulnerable moments… my heart is being pulled in a direction of worry and fear…

Thank You for capturing my heart…

Thank You for talking sweetly to my soul…

Your yoke is easy… kind… gentle.

Oh Lord, I will quietly rest in the beauty of Your presence…

“You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with You forever..”

Psalm 16:11

Freedom not micromanaging… #renew

ps always make more room for the beauty in your lifeThere is so much freedom in giving your heart a break…

There is so much freedom when I pray for peace… for grace abundant.

For God’s love to surround and encompass my heart and my day…

Sometimes I can fall into the temptation of “micromanaging” my prayer life..

To feel like I have to list, or hash out everything I am thinking about or worried about… It’s like I am literally pushing the joy of who I am in Christ right out of my heart…

Remembering that I am loved, secure and saved by grace alone gives me the freedom to pray for grace abundant over all my worries… over all my family members, worries or fears…

It is by grace that God captured my heart..

Not fear, or condemnation…

It is by grace that God draws each of us into His glorious courts…

So, today I am going to give my heart a break and let God’s grace have its way in; and around my heart, and my day..

Praying God’s grace in Your day too…

May you remember where He found you..

And all that He has done to restore your soul…

His love never changes…

His love is faithful…

He is working on all those hearts of your loved ones…

Trust In Him :)

“But I trust in Your unfailing love.

I will rejoice because You have rescued me.

I will sing to the Lord because He has been so good to me.”

Psalm 13:5

Cherish Understanding… #kindness

With all of my heart I want to be beautiful in God’s eyes…

To walk through my day with the constant knowledge that He is near…

I am a people pleaser by nature… I want to love and be loved.

I see injustice, and cruelty so very plainly…

It hurts…

For sure this world can be cruel… Pitting our hearts and thoughts up against one another.

For me to focus on the one thing…The only thing that I can control ..

My relationship with my Heavenly Father.

As I walk through my day, my heart’s desire is to be pleasing, and beautiful before my Heavenly Father.

This heart posture relieves so much stress…

I know I am going to be challenged maybe in a million ways as I interact with people in my day…

My husband, kids, neighbors, the folks at walmart,or my grocery store (I seem to forget to get something almost every day! loll)  The people I have to deal with on the phone over health insurance issues… LOTS of issues! ugggg…. :)

It never ends…

I have a choice though…

I choose to be careful…To be sensitive…

The way I choose to react may be the only kindness someone has been shown for a long time…

To be loving and compassionate…

Hopeful and considerate always bring me so much joy…

Joy that my Heavenly Father smiles brightly when I surrender my anger, or frustration and remember that I am His first…

I am a reflection of His goodness to whoever I come in contact with…

That Is our purpose…

That is my passion…

Today I am going to cherish understanding…
