Dear Heavenly Father, On This Good Friday, We come before you, thinking about You… all that You went through.. Thanking you with groans so deep, that there truly aren’t any words… you suffered excruciating pain, betrayal, rejection.. How our hearts cry out, Abba, Father… We love You…

…”And by Your wounds we are healed…”

What precious words of love and hope… Praising  you for you surreal and vulnerable  Love for Your Father, for walking on this earth as one of us, for loving other’s as yourself,  and for your gift of redemption…

How beautiful you are..

Celebrating, Honoring, and Thanking You… We are humbled to be called Your children..

The throne of Grace…

Can you picture yourself approaching His throne… He is sitting, waiting expectedly for you.  His arms wide open, His eyes glowing with joy… He loves you!

Dear Heavenly Father, my time of need is now….thank you for this picture of faith.  As we take time to separate ourselves from our day, we come into the quietness of your  presence.  In our brokenness, we find You… in our time of need you pour your mercy and grace over our tired and hardened souls; You fill every crack and puncture with the oil of your grace…How our hearts cry out for a safe place.  May we have the confidence to know that, that safe place is only found in Your presence. As we approach Easter, Oh Lord, may we remember the cost of Your sacrifice… that you were beaten, ridiculed, condemned, and nailed to the cross… We praise your beautiful, and Holy name that three days later, You conquered death all because you first loved us..

Holy Holy is our God almighty,

Ever feel like you’re living on the edge? Someone is going to say something, do something, want something, need something and that’s all it’s going to take… You’re going to blow!  Is your heart feeling so wound up that it doesn’t  take much… and the tears start flowing?

You are so not alone!

“He will not let your foot slip – He who watches over you will not slumber..”

Psalm 121: 3

Dear Heavenly Father,  Thank you that you already know our hearts, thoughts, and struggles, that when we come to you in prayer,  You are happy  to hear from us… to come along side of us and ease the feelings of frustration, anger, fear or sadness..You are our Heavenly Father, and You love to sit with us… encourage us, guide us.. .You already know what’s going on, and the reasons deep in our hearts.  You are always  walking with us, and drawing us to You for that very reason… Help us to come into Your presence, at this very moment, and release what is going on.. Thank you that You will not let our foot slip… that we can back away from the ledge, and give our every thought to you.   Thank you that through our struggles we are able to see Your love in a different light, we are learning to be real with You, and trust You with our hearts…  and that is a blessing for sure!

Thank you that you will not let our foot slip, that you are watching over us, and you care about every little thing we are going through…

What a picture of strength and beauty a tree is, right…

Oh, Lord, thank you for watching over us.  Thank you that whatever we are going through today, the good, the bad or the ugly, that you are near, either encouraging us with a loving touch, or  providing our hearts relief with your goodness.   Just like the picture of this majestic tree, O Lord,  your shade eases our hearts. And beckons us to be at rest in the comfort of your presence.. When we draw near to you, you take our  burden and pressures, and exchange them with your peace and clarity.. Hallelujah for that!  Lord, help us to remember you are always near, give us the strength to whisper a prayer wherever we find ourselves  today…

Are you struggling with something bigger than yourself?

You know that feeling when you are driving along, kinda distracted, and  in the distance you begin to hear a song? Your heart smiles, you turn the radio up, and all of a sudden you are transformed from where you are to a hidden joy, memory or thought….

Ahhh… that’s the best!

“The Lord is my strength and my shield: My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped..my heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song..”

Psalm 28:7

Dear Heavenly Father, We so so want to do what’s right before you, and in your eyes… Thank You that YOU are our strength.  How wonderful it is that you love when we draw close to you!   Your word teaches us that you are our Rock, our  “Oxygen Mask”  That we can first breathe in Your love and hope for our lives and situations.. Thank you that we don’t have to please you by striving or pretending.. life is hard and You are our shield. We can come to you, just as we are, and know that you already have the best planed for us… Dear Lord,  as we trust you for your protection, and make decisions that are tough, how I pray our hearts will  tune in to that perfect song of hope that sends freedom, comfort and joy flowing through our veins.. That we will be strengthened to trust in You, and You alone. We give you thanks for the sweet song of  freedom you bring into our hearts when we let go, and trust you for your protection in our every decision… How we praise you for that beautiful truth!

Dear Heavenly Father, good morning, and thank You!  For Your beauty is everywhere… a little child’s laughter, the brilliance of another sunrise, the aroma of flowers, and the ocean air!  Your beauty truly does inspire shouts of joy…May our day be filled with awe and wonder of the sweet simple things that we hear and see.

Thank you, for Your goodness all around us.

As we come into your Heavenly presence today, we offer you our hearts, hands and words, how we pray for you to touch us with your beauty, and help us to be ambassadors of that same beauty to others you have already placed on our path…

Hope..

Don’t you just love that word?

Hope takes our focus off of our pain and offers us Gods peace, if we let it :)

Please read this scripture with me, and see how very personal God’s hope truly is….

“I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord,  plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future..when you will call upon Me, and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you…”

Jeremiah 29:11

  No matter what we are going through, No matter what the attacks might be, or sometimes, the consequences of a decision we have to make, or something we have done,  the God of this whole ginormous world, has plans to give us hope and a future.. that’s how much You and I mean to Him!

Heavenly Father, how you know the very cry of our hearts.. You know our weaknesses, our strengths and the secret things that keep our very hearts bound… How I pray for us today that as we call on, You, You would pierce our hearts and thoughts, and remind us that You are near. You are listening. You deeply care… You are, at this very moment, pouring hope into our hearts. Help us to drink these words in, and to remember that you are preparing for us  good things which you have already planned for our futures…Yaay God!
