Tis the season to feel crazy… fa la la la la… lalalalalal!  :)

Praying to clear my thoughts from the relentless noise…

Eye to eye, heart to heart, I lay down my anxiety and draw near.

Clearing my thoughts of the relentless noise…

I move slowly, ….  purposefully tucked in Your care…

There is so much beauty, so much love, when I listen to your voice above…

As the season of hope, love, and new beginnings swirl around the days to come,

I pray my focus be on You alone…

Keeping my heart right, my thoughts true, may love and genuine goodness be an overflow from You.

Dear Jesus,

As the holidays push for more, how I pray I would rest with less…

Less noise, less rushing, less spending, less confusion.

How I pray I hear the sweetness in holiday songs, may I smile more, judge less, and may the reason for the season remind me love is all around…

I love You Jesus,

In Your name I pray,

As the holidays approach stress and turmoil can being to grow… You’re not alone…

Stay close to God’s voice of calm, and heart of peace.  He is your Answer… He is your light…

Being calm in the midst of this messy world takes courage.

Staying calm in the midst of a confusion takes resolve and truth.

Bend your knees before God, cry out to Him alone…

Then stand, and walk, and do some awesome things to make this world a better place :)

Then sleep, and wake up, and do it all over again….

There will be an answer… Let it be… :)

“Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when He prayed

earnestly that no rain would fall,

none fell for the next three and a half years!

 Then He prayed for rain, and down

it poured…”

James 4:17-18

Surrender of self, and reliance on God will take the anxiety out of the situation…

” For examples of patience and suffering, look at the examples of the prophets who  who spoke in the name of the Lord. We give great honor to those who endure under suffering.

Job is an example of a man who endured patiently.  From His experience we see how the Lord’s plan finally ended in good, for He is full of tenderness and mercy.”

James 4:10-11

Let God have all of you…

Let Him be in the midst of the heart break, fear, and all of the things that go along with living in a broken world…

He promises to take it all make good…

Trust Him…

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Romans 8:28

Keeping your head above water means you have to keep moving forward.

Picture yourself swimming, its the best… gliding all around the water… all merman or mermaidish… :) …..

…..but if you stop for a second…

Yep!!!!

Down you go :/

Just like our thoughts, if we think about the same things over, and over,  and over again, keeping our mind in the same place, the next thing you know…

Yep!!

Drowning ! :/

But this time you’re  sinking  in pain or sorrow…fear… or anxiety.

It’s not ok to do this to yourself! :)

When you’re drowning in water, you have to move … swim, kick, paddle and get to air….

When your’e drowning in thoughts it’s much like that!

You have to turn your frown upside down :)

Start moving… paddleing, kicking, and calling out to God.

Start swimming forward by praising Him for the things that are good in your life…

Look for the goodness He has shown you in the past…for the goodness He is giving you right now… start to worship, and cultivate hope.  He want’s you to swim toward  Him.. depend on Him, and learn to trust Him alone… Not yourself :)

Move… Get busy… get outside, put on music, exercise, bake, cook, whatever it takes to get air… Let the beauty of God’s favor fill your lungs and your heart :)

You have to train yourself to swim… the same is true in over thinking…

We have to train ourselve’s  to not drown in thoughts…

That is never God!

God pushes us forward … Learning, loving, growing…

Living :)

Life is too short to always be going over what was…

You have work to do :)

Train yourself to swim and glide and move… pushing your thoughts to the otter corners of your mind and finally away!

“And now dear brothers and sisters, one final thing.

Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable.

Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”

Phillipians 4:8

Ask yourself…

What is true right now?  What is it that I a doing?  Am I drowning?

Is that good?  Or right?  Or pure? Or lovely?

Am I  being admirable?

The answer is Aw!    NOOOOO! LOL

Then stop… And fix your mind on what is excellent… And that Is God’s heart for You.

His love and hope… Peace and goodness…

He is worthy of your heart, and your praise…

So. Stop.  Do what is pure, and lovely and right and admirabe… and Love On Your God :)

Thank Him for saving you, and for carrying through the toughest of times.  He will not let Go… There is always purpose in the pain…

It happens for sure…

Stay the course :)

May you feel His genuine love spill from His words, and wrap your heart with great comfort, and sincere hope…

May His great favor and everlasting comfort fill your mind with His beauty…

May your thoughts and feelings of self,  be quietly dimmed and turned into dust…

May His great glow of  peace cover your mind, and awake your spirit…

It’s about Him.

It’s about trust.

It’s about living a life covered in  grace….

May you hold tight to the one who is holding you…

May we live today like there’s no tomorrow…

May His special favor and good hope, fill us with strength and in every good thing we do and say…

It’s so important to show up in your day…

To live in the moment that is right in front of us.

Not running from what is, but trusting  in who He Is…

“Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble and he saved them from their distress.

He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves.

What a blessing was that stillness as he brought them safely into the harbor!”

Psalm 107: 20-30

There is strength in our vulnerability, there is beauty in softness…

God’s touch calms the storm to a whisper…

His guidance leads us safely into the harbor…

May we let Him touch the loud and hard places…

May we let Him touch our hearts as we walk in the beauty of His aroma…

Dear Jesus,

Let me hear your voice big… my days, my future are in Your hands…

I have nothing to fear.  I have nothing to run from.

May You grant me peace, and fill my heart with hope…

Keep breathing, moving, and living for today :)

Right! Hahaha

We’re given so many opportunites…

But the actual patience doesn’t seem to be working :)

Patience and peace.  Together they slow down our thought process, and quiet or mind….

Patience = LIFE :)

“1.     The quality of being patient, as the bearing of provocation annoyance, misfortune, or pain without complaint loss of temper, irritation, or the like.

2.     An ability or WILLINGNESS to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay.;

3.     Quiet, steady perseverance; even temped care; diligence.

When you feel you have to figure everything out at once, the walls start to close in, feeling of fear and pressure are not far behind.

Jesus came to bring us peace… to seal our hearts and our lives with His Salvation and forgiveness….

We must learn to let Him have our fears. our pain,  and our struggles, and simply call on Him…

“For we do not have a high priest who is unabe to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet He did not sin.”

Hebrews 4:15

When we daily Lay the struggle at His feet, we move  in harmony and love…

We lay it down, and then we take care of our people…

Being patient is a super power…

It creates calm in our homes, takes the focus off of our temporary troubles and helps us to be better people…

“Come close to God, and God will come close to you.Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.”

James 4:8

Trusting God means drawing near to Him…

Trusting God is where our devotion and hope are put to rest…

Leaning on Him.  Then being patient while He works things our for your good…

“Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all of your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.”

Proverbs 3: 5-6

He has your heart right where you are.  He sees you.  He knows you…And that is the gift of being a child of the Most High!

Learn to be  patient in times of trouble or uncertainty, and you will always be blessed with God’s love overflowing….

When we are not patient, we are full of self pride, focused on our wants, and we destroy the love that surrounds our hearts…

God calls us to be better than that… To be kind.  Gentle.  And more and more like Him…

And those fruits are what continually free our souls and breath life into our days…

So rock on friend…

Be patient.

He will surround with His warmth and fill you with light… He is guarding you with His Majesty and singing songs of victory with His love…

He covers you in abundant grace…. and fills your heart with all that He is!

“For the Lord God is our light and protector.

No good thing will the Lord with hold for those who do what is right.

O Lord, Almighty, happy are those who trust in YOU.”

Psalm 84: 11-12

Lean on Him.  He has your heart… He has your whole life in His hands…
