God will pursue you with abandoned passion…

He will not hide His face from you, nor turn His back on you…

There is definitely no mountain high enough that could keep Him from running to you!

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for such comfort.  You know my inner being, you listen and encourage my every thought…

I don’t want to turn my eyes from Your great love,  and run from Your tender mercies…

Give me the courage to stand in Your presence, letting You have all of me…

Give me the desire to follow Your ways..

 Soften my heart to the things that hurt Yours…

I want to walk where You show me, and love without fear!

Thank You for Your grace that carries me, and the joy that fills me.

You are my biggest cheerleader…

Psalm 131:1-3

I must confess.  When I first read this Psalm, my thoughts were of unworthiness and disappointment in myself.

Pride and haughtiness have crept up on me lots of times… the outcome devastation!

But that last line of the top paragraph

“I do not concern myself with matters too great or awesome for me…”

gives me some much needed clarity.

Reminding me of how far I have come…

Living simply.  Loving dearly…

Not letting people or situations change me, but instead,

staying in step with the Holy Spirit’s peace and comfort…

“My heart is not proud, my eyes are not haughty..”

Though I may feel a sting from what someone may do or say…

I am learning this sweet little treasure…

“But I have stilled and quieted myself, just as a small child is quiet with its mother.  Yes, like a small child is my soul within..”

This brings to mind the sweetest picture of comfort…

Instead of letting pride or haughtiness take over…

I see myself looking for My Heavenly Father… collapsing on his lap.  His arms wrapped around me, my head buried in His chest…

In an Instant I am filled with comfort… reassurance that He is able..

more than able to fight my battles…

“.. Put your hope in the Lord, now and always…”

Many  trials, and sorrows…

It’s just part of life…

Learning to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus… Not focused on the current situation changes everything!

Not letting feelings of isolation or persecution overtake my thoughts…

Keeping in the light of what is true..

“We will have many trials and many sorrows….”

This is always a challenge for me.  I can take things so personal… start to reflect on every word, every scenario …

And believe me, that’s a dark alley.. with no windows and no light!

God truly loves me.  He truly loves you.

We are not under persecution of His love…

We are His.

  He is working out our direction, and walking with us on our path, all we have to do is keep walking in His hope of goodness and the light of His love…

No matter how hard today is… God is working on your behalf for a better tomorrow.

Dear precious Heavenly Father, how I need to take this time to empty my heart of all my fears.. all my worries..

I come before You, knowing You have my way already mapped out…

I am depending on You for my strength…

Thank You for always calling me straight into Your presence…

Opening my heart, and catching all of my fears.

My life is in Your hands, and for that I am truly grateful.

Help me to live in love today.  Not focused or worried about tomorrow, but fully engulfed in loving You, and being an extension of Your beauty and grace…

May other’s see in me Your comfort, and may they too want to know You!

If guilt, shame, or condemnation bubble all around you…

Do you feel like you are under attack?

God does not condemn!

Just the fact that you are reading this, shows your heart…

Your heart wants to run to God…

So run :)

He is Your safe place…

He is your strong tower..

He is Your Father, Savior and Great confidant!

Take all of your fears.  All of your failures.  All of your sadness…

And let God pour His goodness like medication all of your wounds…

Let Him sing songs of deliverance and hope all around your heart…

Let His love set you free!

Oh, Heavenly Father, how beautiful You are…

Dear Heavenly Father, how I praise Your Holy Name.  Thank You for leading me into the light of Your hope.

The light of Your truths…

You are my refuge… and I am so very grateful to be a daughter of the King most high.

You are my shelter and my comfort in times of trouble..

When the storm seems to be brewing, and my heart is on fire.. You alone will rescue me… You alone are my Strong Tower..

You alone are my hope…

How truly glorious and beautiful You are.

 Sometimes God’s guidance and hope in our lives can seem so distant.

So very quiet…

We may feel as if we missed our calling…or He has given up on us..

That couldn’t be further from the truth…

He didn’t redeem you, and set you on solid ground just to leave you…

He reached down from Heaven..

Choose you, and breathed His sweet song of hope in your heart…

He hasn’t let go.

Not for one minute. He loves you with abandonment, and fierce devotion.  He is growing you.

He is strengthening you.

Each day that I rise and shine, I need to ask myself…

 How do I want to live my life?

Can I do better than yesterday?

My heart cries, Abba Father, I want to live my life consecrated to You… Lost in Your mercy… filled with Your hope.

Yes, I can do better than yesterday.

I love You, Dear Lord, and thank You for Your power and majesty all around my life… thank You for filling me with hope.

Thank You for not letting me go back to the person I was.  You are pushing me forward, filling me with Your sweet songs of deliverance…

I need to be filled with more of You and way less of me.
