How beautiful is to know that the God of Heaven, the God who created you… the God of the universe is in your darkness… your chaos…

your confusion and your pain…

He bends low to find you…

He seeks your eyes to see you…

He extends his hand to reach for you…

And he draws you near to be with you….

He finds you in your dark little cave…

He has been there all the while…

Waiting… reaching…  and praying on your behalf…

He says to you..

Stand and follow me… I will show you the way…

It has been my life experience, that there is always, always…  something in our life that causes us stress, or grief, or worry, or fear….. or …. the list goes on.

If we’re always waiting for the stress; or the pain to go away, if  we are not willing to be gentle with our hearts,  love others, show compassion, then the days will simply pass us by with whispers of us saying tomorrow…  and we will be found wanting, waiting, self inflicted and isolated…

“I have told you these things. so that in me you may have peace.  In this world you will have trouble.

But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33

We will always have trouble… Always.

I pray for our hearts to stay soft.

For our eyes to stay  focused on the beauty of the cross…

For our words to be kind…

Pain or turmoil does not have to change your heart…

When we keep our hearts open to God’s whispers of goodness, we are solid…

While it’s true, on the surface,  there isn’t always beauty to be found in some situations, there is a loving God who is readily available to cleanse, comfort, and create in you a beauty that is only found from living in the warmth of God’s holy light, and the sweet  aroma of His fragrance and touch…

“But thank God!  He has made us His captives, and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession.  Now He uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume.”
2 Corinthians 2:14

He will make beauty from ashes…

Your life has meaning in God’s eyes… And He will always choose you!  He wants to use your life… you joy and your pain to draw others into His presence of love and grace…

“For weeping may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning…”

You can believe that God is deeply embedded in the depths of the darkness…

You can be sure that no matter what is going on around you, God is making something beautiful in you….

Hope for tomorrow…

Mercy overflowing.

We should… and can…  choose how we respond to life’s difficult circumstances…

We decide if we are going to make our life beautiful, and loving and filled with kindness not matter what situation we find ourselves in…

It’s a choice to not let our hearts and minds get filled with self absorption, and constant defeat…

You decided to turn off the negative sound track and let love live…

To not let your heart be filled with self pity…  negativity,  or anger is to let freely go and let God’s beauty; and perfect grace flow through your veins and fill your life… Make it your goal that when God’ looks at you he smiles and says, “That’s my girl” … “That’s my guy”

There is magic in kindness…

There is hope in tenderness…

There is life in loving…

Dear Jesus,

No matter what is going on in and around my life; may I stop…drop… and  mediate on the wonders of your love…  The beauty of the things I know you have touched in and around my life…

May your words of hope sink deep into my bones… that my soul will be nourished with truth…with love, hope and tenderness…

May I set aside my agenda…

May I seek to be a reflection of all that you are…

May I fill my world with your presence of grace, and compassion…

May the beauty of your love be my guiding light…

Sometimes it takes a good long  look in the mirror to see the reflection we have been sharing…

We need to go deep… look at our heart and lives…   give it all to God…

He is our freedom, and joy… the lover of our soul… Forever and ever…

Dear Jesus,

My heart is heavy… My fears too many to count.

He is surrounding you with songs of comfort and strength…

He is protecting you from danger.

Meditate and visualize the love He is offering in these words above…

Let them sink deep into your soul.

May you sense His Spirit doing exactly what He says He will do…

Give you hope overflowing when you feel like your drowning…

Love overwhelming when you feel you don’t deserve it…

May you be present in your day…

May you live a life of love, and trust His power to do  the unimaginable in your life…

Breathe in the moments of today… and don’t rush what is not meant to be…

The pain, sadness…and for a brief moment, even, emptiness… I am filled with deep devotion and an overflowing warmth love and comfort, I find hard to explain…
