Full of God’s hope.. Mercy and grace!

So, when those old; and too familiar feelings of sadness, or despair want to grip your heart, and challenge Your mind..

You gotta shake it off… Shake it off.

Old habits die hard, and this one must die…

No more backward thinking…

No more backward living…

Today, I pray we would recognize that pull and fight.

This verse has been on my heart for a couple of days…

I have a tendency to feel anxious…

(No surprise to you by now :) LOL

It is always subtle..

A negative, or  backward thought here and there…

Thinking too long on what somebody said, or did…

Overthinking… Is sooooo not my friend!

…But

Living forward..

Living in the aroma of God’s peace…

Being the best me I can be…  means I have to let those backward, and sometimes comfortable,  thoughts go right away…

You cannot live in the moments of today thinking about the moments of yesterday…It’s just not possible.

Again… I know this :)

Letting God’s peace dwell richly and deeply within every morsel of my soul stops the anxiousness that wants to invade…

I am super learning that!

Father I drink In Your peace… Slowly.

Purposefully…

Your peace is my strength…

I will not let my heart be troubled…

I will not be anxious…

I will keep moving forward…

No dwelling or camping out on negative stuff here!

Your peace is within me..

I will keep pushing  my thoughts forward…

I will live in today…

Seasons change…

Opening our hearts, and our minds to new feelings and new emotions can be scary…

God wants us to know His presence… To know He is all about taking care of our hearts…

“The Lord is my Shepard; I have everything I need…”

To understand His love…

“He lets me rest in green pastures…”

His grace…

“He leads me beside peaceful streams..”

And His freedom.

“He renews my strength…”

God wants to saturate our lives with all that He is…

“He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name..”

Standing on unfamiliar ground can be exciting or terrifying.. Trust Him.  Let Him have His way in your heart…

“Even through I walk through the valley of death, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.  Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me… You prepare a feast for me in front of my enemies.  You welcome me as a guest, anointing my head with oil.  My cup overflows with blessings…”

Father,  how I thank You for such a time as this…

How beautiful is Your love and tender mercies.. May the words of Your loving kindness soak deep in my soul…

May I live a life that pleases You…
